This policy describes what data we collect when you use Meetqi services. It also provides information about how we store, transfer, use, and delete that data, and what choices you have with respect to the information.
This policy applies to Meetqi’s online video meeting tool, including the website other applications.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions, currently available at https://meetqi.com/terms (the “Terms and Conditions”). Any terms used herein and not defined will have the meanings given to them in the Terms and Conditions as the context requires. By using the Services, you hereby warrant and represent that you have read, understand and agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions. Please do not use or install the Services if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy.

What personal data do we collect

1. User account information
Information associated with an account, which may include username, account ID, profile picture, contact information, billing number, account plan information and information people provide when registering for a Meetqi meeting, webinar or recording, which may include name and contact information, responses to registration questions, and other registration information requested by the host.

2. Meeting room data
This data may include all the content generated and shared during the conferences, meetings, webinars or messages including media files (audio/video), notes, cin-meeting messages, chat messaging content, transcriptions, written feedback, responses to polls and Q&A, and files, as well as related context, such as invitation details, meeting or chat name, chat messages or meeting agenda. Content may contain your voice and image, depending on the account owner’s settings, what you choose to share, your settings. Also, it includes information about the participants, meeting room number/name.

3. App usage information
This data includes users’ interactions with the app. We collect this information in order to analyze the performance of our services. Information about how people and their devices interact with Meetqi , such as: when participants join and leave a meeting; whether participants sent messages and who they message with; performance data; mouse movements, clicks, keystrokes or actions (such as mute/unmute or video on/off), and other user inputs that help Meetqi to understand feature usage, improve product design, and suggest features; which third-party apps users add to a meeting or other Product and what information and actions the app is authorized to access and perform; features used (such as screen sharing, emojis, or filters); and other usage information and metrics. This also includes information about when and how people visit and interact with Meetqi’s website, including what pages they accessed, their interaction with the website features, and whether or not they signed up for a Meetqi Product.

4. Device information
MeetQi also collects the data about the computers, phones and other various devices that are used to access the platform. which may include information about the speakers, microphone, camera, operating system, hard disk ID, PC name, MAC address, IP address, geographical location, device attributes (like operating system version and battery level), WiFi information, and other device information (like Bluetooth signals). This information also helps us to analyze and improve the performance.

5. Service and transactional notifications
Sometimes we'll send you emails about your account, service changes or new policies. You can’t opt out of this type of "service or transactional" emails (unless you delete your account) as they are necessary information for the Services

6. Communication with the support team
We store all the interactions with the support team, including relating to support questions, information about your account and other inquiries, so that we can provide you a better service.

How do we process and use your data

Participants exchange media such as audio, video and screen sharing within meetings. We only process media to enable participants to use our Service; we do not process media for our own purposes.

We will not store any meeting recordings or media sent between participants in a room, except on a strictly transient basis where this is a necessary part of the transmission. Customers who have access to the “Recording” feature will be able to record meetings, and they are then responsible for collecting consents from all participants in the meeting prior to starting the recording. They are also responsible for storing and processing the recording in compliance with regulations after downloading it from Meetqi.

1. Providing MeetQi services
We use your personal data to provide features, and services to account owners, their users, and those they invite to join meetings. MeetQi also uses personal data to send invitations and messages to recipients. This may also include using personal data for customer support, which may include accessing media files, and messages, at the direction of the account owner or their users.

2. Research and product development
MeetQi collects the data to develop new features and improve our services in the future.

3. Security
We use your data to prevent unsafe experiences and avoid security threats. We understand the importance of privacy and security of Personal Information to our users and have made them a priority. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome those measures or use your Personal Information for improper purposes, and we do not promise that Personal Information about you or private communications will be protected from unauthorized disclosure or use.

4. Marketing
We do not use meetings information for any marketing reasons. We only use app usage and device information that helps us to collect the analytics about the app. We may also ask you to accept cookie so that we can show you ads on our platform.

6. Legal reasons
We may also use your personal information so that we can comply with the government’s regulations.

International transfers of your personal data

In some circumstances your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). You acknowledge that personal data that you submit for publication through our website or services may be available, via the internet, around the world. Managing your personal data

If you have access to your Meetqi account, you can transform and modify your data at any time. After deleting your account you will lose all of your personal data.

Retaining and deleting personal data

1. Your personal data will not be kept for no longer than it is necessary
2. We will determine the period of retention based on the following criteria:
- Account information, Room information will be retained until you decide to delete your account.
- The period of retention of usage information will be determined based on the need for historical data to determine statistical validity and relevance for product decisions and technical monitoring.
- Also, we may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

User Rights

As an individual and Meetqi user you are granted rights according to the applicable data protection law:

2. The right to rectification of your personal data
3. The right to object to and restriction of our processing of your personal data
